1 can tuna drained and flaked
2-3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 squirt mustard
2-3 tsp onion finely chopped
1-2 tsp celery finely chopped
2-3 tsp sweet pickle relish
2-3 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
Mix all together, refrigerate at least 30 min. Put on sandwiches or pita. Serve with soup or chips.
Variations: Add chopped fresh tomato. Use pepperjack cheese. Sam substitutes avocado for the mayonnaise.
Same basic recipe can be used for: shrimp salad(omit cheese), chicken salad etc.
