1/2 15 oz can Sweet Bavarian kraut
1/2 med onion chopped
1 roll ten canned biscuits
ten toothpicks

Brown meat with onions.(add oil to brown turkey, drain beef or pork fat) add kraut and warm up to evaporate some of the liquid.

Preheat oven to 400.

Open biscuits. Flatten each one. Put 2-3 tbsp of beef mixture in each one. Fold up like envelope and secure with toothpick.

Bake 10-15 min til brown.
Serve with horseradish sauce if you want.

This is a very versatile recipe and you can make your favorite 'hot pocket' flavors if you follow some simple tips:
Experiment with fillings - as long as they are cooked first - don't count on the baking to get the filling done.
Can use chopped roast beef, or pork, or cooked chicken meat - not sure about fish.
Don't use things with a lot of sauce or liquid or they will be soggy.
you can use any kind of refrigerated roll dough like crouissant.

The other 1/2 can of sauerkraut and the other 1/2 can of corned beef are now available for Reuben sandwiches.
